Perth Beaches

Cottesloe Beach is one of Perth's premier summer locations. Its pristine white beach is great for swimming and it also has beautiful, elevated grassed areas overlooking the beach and a huge choice of cool cafes and restaurants. Located halfway between Perth and Fremantle, about 14 kilometres (8.7 miles), or less than 30 minutes drive, from Perth city centre. Public buses leave frequently from Perth's Elizabeth Quay Bus Station. Trains run from Perth Station to Cottesloe Station every 15 minutes and get you there in less than 20 minutes on the Fremantle Line. Kings Park

The reserve, managed by the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority,
supports 250 species of plants and about 100 native animals. 
The Kings Park Visitor Information Centre on Fraser Avenue
can provide further information on all events and activities within the park.


Aboriginal Art Gallery


Situated high on Mount Eliza, Kings Park, in Perth Western Australia the Aboriginal Art Gallery will dramatically enrich the visitor’s understanding and experience of Indigenous Art and Culture. The gallery, which has been established for 16 years, exhibits the works of Aboriginal Artists from Western Australia and Northern Territory. The Aboriginal performers, who from time to time work in the gallery, talk about culture, artefacts, bush food and medicine from the Nyoongar area. Authentic Aboriginal -The Label of Authenticity distinguishes genuine product from those manufactured overseas or by non-Aboriginal people, giving greater confidence to the market place.
